Book Writing and Publishing

At our Framingham luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, I had the privilege of being the speaker. I talked about how I came to be a Book Writing and Publishing Workshop leader and coach.

If I had not become a member of the Dream Factory Community, I probably would have never found my dream career. My story isn’t unique within the Dream Factory Community: Ellen Keiter might not be selling her cards at our luncheons and stores; Maria Piedra might not have two gift stores; and Judy Giovangelo might not have begun her non-profit organization, Ben Speaks. And these are just a few of the stories of success within the Dream Factory (DF) Community.

Success stories are always nice to know about, because it gives us hope that we might also be successful. The fact is that everyone has that capacity, and the DF Community with its educational components help people find their dream for their life, their work, and their world. The CDO (Chief Dream Officer) Training followed by the Prosperity Circle help keep people focused and working toward their dreams. Because we know that many of our members in the DF Community have stories to tell and write, we are creating a book: Living Your Dreams: Dream Factory Community Success Stories.

If you want to write, but you aren’t ready to tackle a complete book, then maybe writing a chapter about your success will be a good place to start. The Dream Factory Press is just getting started, which provides an opportunity for members of the Dream Factory Community to be published. We will be publishing books – your books! Deb Strafuss has the very first ISBN number for the Dream Factory Press!

However, if you want to just dip your toe into writing, you can start with writing your success story. To do that, do a publicity package.
