I have been so excited by what is getting generated within the Dream Factory Community. My hope is that this blog post gives you ideas for how this community can be shaped to serve your needs and how we can support one another.
First, our Medway Community has grown under the leadership of Judy Giovangelo for the past 2 years. She was gracious to stay on even though she moved to West Roxbury. Now, she is stepping down as the Chief Dream Officer in that area, which has opened up the opportunity to create a Chief Dream Officer Team for Medway. Right now, we have Jean Papagni, Jenny Campbell, Kim Lentros, and Judy on the team. They will work in partnership with our Circle Leaders, Katia Stiefel and Mary Carol Lodge. Having 5 new people join at the last Dream Factory Medway Luncheon, is a good sign that the community is inspired by this new leadership configuration as well as our speaker, Maria Piedra.
Second, Kim Reddington of Cereus Women asked if the Dream Factory Community wanted to sponsor her Facebook Workshop. We did, which enabled our members to receive a 50% discount on this full-day intensive. It was great, and the Dream Factory Community made up 50% of the attendees. I look forward to sharing our knowledge–and meeting up on the internet and expanding our reach. Thanks Kim!!
Lastly, I got an email from one of our new members in Concord, asking if we could have a CDO Training on Saturday. My first thought was to call Deborah Strafuss who leads the CDO Training. She was willing, so all we needed was a date and a place. Deb set the date, and then new member, Kim Lentros, said she had the place, The Magic Barn in Ashland. As I am writing this, we have our first Saturday CDO Training at the Magic Barn in Ashland.
It Takes a Community!!! Thanks Everyone. Be in touch if there is something you need and/or want to create. If we can, we will. Check out pictures from all these events on DreamFactoryCommunity on Facebook. Facebook Workshop, CDO Training and Medway Luncheon.
