Leverage Your Community and Build Connections

You may be at a place in your life when you have realized your dream and started to live it. For many of us having a dream includes having a big vision of sharing our gifts in such a way that we are impacting the world. You could be impacting your local community, a larger community, or a small group in a different country.

Regardless of whether your impact is small or whether your vision is much bigger, your impact can be great when you share your gifts.

In order to have the impact that your dream requires, it’s important that you get the word out. It’s not enough to just open your doors. People need to know that you are in business. They need to know how you can help them.

The best way to get the word out is to create some structure around your marketing and your community. We need coaches, mentors, colleagues and clients.

I want to share with you some people in the Dream Factory Community who are sharing their gifts and impacting their world. Take not that  they are doing it through COMMUNITY. They are not finding their success on their own, they are building relationships and strengthening the community around them.  They are using their connections to find new clients, new volunteers, obtain training, create referrals and partnerships, and essentially reach their dreams.

You may be a veterinarian like Dr. Christine Valas who takes care of animals (The Family Pet Hospital), a non-profit, impacting a social issue (Ben Speaks or Alliance Exchange), a holistic practitioner (Janice Pronko, Susan Keller, Lisa Campion, Judy Giovangelo), a marketing coach (Kim Reddington of Cereus Women and Sandra Larkin of The Metaphor Maven), a financial planner (Maya Stojanovic).

These are just some of the great women doing great things within and because of their community.

The Dream Factory Community provides much of the support you need to build this important structure, and Social Media can be a way to strengthen that structure.

This is one reason why the Dream Factory Community is hosting a 3-hour workshop called, “Leverage Your Community and Build Connections Through Social Media”

Social Media works in conjunction with the connections you make through the Dream Factory Community. Social Media is also called Social Networking because it’s a social way of networking with a larger audience around the world, and it can help to solidify and strengthen connections you have made in person.

There are so many ways to tap into the power of Social Media that are often overlooked, so we share some of these tools with you during the workshop.
