Elaine Earned Her Wings

Posted On: Friday, February 22, 2013

Elaine Gabrielson has passed, leaving us, family and friends behind. Six (6) people this week in my circle of friends have been called home. Upon reflection I call this week a week of profound graduation.

Yes, we are left with sadness and sorrow, we mourn, and we grieve, and there is more, so much more.

I believe we all come in with a soul agenda, and with completion of these goals the gift of freedom into magnificent expansion is granted. So, how was it that Elaine earned her wings at such an early age? I say, look at her life.

Knowing Elaine has meant knowing a most generous soul. With an open heart, she received others in grace and love. She loved hearing others’ stories and when one shared even mundane details, having them received by her seemed to make them more magical and wondrous. Her sons and husband are all gentle and lovingly adored Elaine, and she adored them.

Elaine shared, celebrated, and supported those around her. Seeing others in their beauty, she taught us to see from the heart, without judgement. Whatever Elaine had she shared joyously, she taught us that in sharing, life gets bigger and there is even more to celebrate.

Elaine taught that courage is found within. An amazing woman facing so much, especially this past year, with so many overwhelming challenges, she dug deeper and found wisdom, even more compassion and a deepening relationship with her God.

Elaine was grateful, all the time, for big things or little, such as her flowers in her garden, the birds, their songs, friends, laughter, it was all a blessing.

Our sister lived a life that I, for one, will always honor. She personified the power of love, gentleness, and finally surrender to her Divine Source.

All those who have been lucky enough to know Elaine know what the greatest masters came to teach – be love.

I believe be love IS exactly what we have all come to Master. When Elaine knew fear, she dug deeper and found comfort in the eternal light, Spirit always provides

When she was confused, she surrender to the Divine, knowing It as Love and she It’s Divine Child, and her spirituality blossomed. Elaine has earned her wings. She has earned freedom from struggle. Elaine is now free to be love eternal.

May we all know success in our journey back to full expression of love. May we recognize all challenges as the most direct route back to our wholeness. Elaine walked with us in love; may we take her lead and walk with others in the same way.

Elaine, your love lives on in us, and we are blessed.
